Turrialba Region is located on the Atlantic side of Costa Rica, close to the volcano with the same name. Produces most of its coffee in alternation with Sugar Cane, Cacao and Bananas since 1830. The crops grow in low lands, with high humidity and warmth. The soils is alluvial and volcanic and crops shade grown. The weather influences the harvest and produces one of the earliest harvest. Harvest: From June to February.
