The Brunca Region is located in the far south of the country near the Panamá border. This region is the youngest in Costa Rica to produce coffee, starting in the 1950's when Italian colonists arrive. La Amistad farm is located in the town Coto Brus, within a humid and tropical forest, with volcanic soil, ideal for coffee farming. Harvest: From September to February.
